These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of sageco.build (the "Site"), including the public website, the reference library and domain pages, and the client portal (together, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
These Terms are a contract for the use of the Site only. They are not the agreement under which Sage Company Holdings LLC ("Sage Co.," "we," "us") designs, builds, or consults on any home or project. Any design, construction, consulting, or other professional services are governed solely by a separate written agreement signed by Sage Co. If these Terms ever conflict with a signed agreement between you and Sage Co., the signed agreement controls for the project or service it covers.
Use of this website and the client portal is subject to these Terms. By using the Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms, or, if you are acting for a business, that you have authority to bind it. If you use the Site on behalf of a company or other organization, "you" includes that organization.
The reference library, the eleven domain pages, the Standard page, the Verify page, and other content on the Site describe building science and Sage Co.'s methods. This content is informational and is provided for general understanding.
It is not medical advice, and Sage Co. is not providing health care through this Site. Nothing on the Site is a health-outcome promise, a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a guarantee of any health result. We ask about the building, never about anyone's health. If you have a health concern, consult a licensed health-care professional.
The Site is also not a substitute for the independent professional advice of a licensed architect, engineer, building scientist, attorney, or other qualified professional, who should review any specific situation.
Where Sage Co. makes health-adjacent claims, each claim carries one of three grades — Established, Emerging, or Unverified — as defined on the Standard page. The grade describes the state of the published evidence behind that specific claim as of the last review date, not a rating of a domain, a product, or a house.
Grades reflect Sage Co.'s review of available published evidence at the last review date. They are not static statements of fact and may change as evidence changes. A grade is not a product endorsement, a medical claim, a performance guarantee, a certification, or a determination that any material, assembly, or home complies with any code, standard, or law.
Nothing on this website is an offer or a contract. Service descriptions, references to scope, methods, domains, evidence grades, verification, the Sage Co. Record, service area, scheduling, or any other content on the Site is informational only.
Booking a call, completing intake questions, submitting project or property information, receiving an automated or written confirmation, creating a portal account, or using the Site does not create a design, construction, consulting, professional, fiduciary, or medical relationship between you and Sage Co., and does not commit Sage Co. to provide any service. No pricing, scope, timeline, or deliverable is established by anything on the Site.
Design and construction services are governed solely by a written agreement signed by Sage Company Holdings LLC. That signed agreement — not these Terms — sets the scope, price, schedule, warranties, remedies, change-order process, and all other terms for any project or service.
To use parts of the Site, such as the client portal, you may need an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current, and not to share your account or credentials with others.
You agree not to use the Site to upload unlawful content or material you do not have the right to use; not to introduce malware, viruses, or harmful code; not to attempt to probe, scan, reverse engineer, or compromise the Site's security; and not to interfere with the Site's operation or other users' use of it.
Sage Co. may suspend or terminate access to an account or the Site at any time, including for breach of these Terms. The Site and portal are provided on an "as available" basis, and Sage Co. does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Any obligation to provide project records or deliverables under a signed agreement is governed by that agreement, not by this availability statement.
Sage Co. content. Sage Co. owns the Site's content, branding, the eleven-domain framework, the Standard, the approved materials catalog structure, templates, non-client-specific know-how, and Sage Co.'s presentation and implementation of its evidence-grading system. You may view and use Site content for your own personal, non-commercial information. You may not copy, redistribute, republish, or commercially use Site content without Sage Co.'s written permission, except as permitted by law.
Materials you upload. You retain ownership of, or are responsible for securing the rights to, any plans, drawings, photos, documents, property records, consultant files, or other materials you upload. By uploading, you confirm you have the right to do so and that the content is not unlawful and does not infringe third-party rights. Do not upload protected health information, medical history, diagnoses, symptoms, or confidential third-party material unless you have authority to do so. Sage Co. asks about the building, not anyone's health. You grant Sage Co. a limited license to store, view, copy, and process those materials only as needed to provide services, maintain the project record, and meet legal and contractual obligations.
Third-party materials. Drawings, specifications, reports, or other materials created by architects, engineers, consultants, or suppliers may be owned by them, and rights are subject to their terms and the signed project agreement.
Project deliverables and the Sage Co. Record. Ownership and rights in project deliverables, drawings, specifications, the Sage Co. Record, and other project materials are governed by the signed project agreement, not these Terms.
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sage Co. disclaims warranties relating to the Site and its informational content, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sage Co. is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the Site, the portal, or the informational content on it.
These Terms limit liability only for use of the Site, portal, and informational content. They do not limit, and are not intended to limit, any rights or obligations that cannot be limited under Texas law. They do not disclaim or limit Sage Co.'s obligations, warranties, or liability for actual construction or design services, gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, personal injury, or any non-waivable statutory or consumer right. Those are governed by the signed agreement and applicable law, not these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to the signed agreement, the state and federal courts located in Travis County, Texas have exclusive venue for any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site.
